I currently take Judo but, have an opportunity to take wrestling also. I was wondering if anybody has ever mixed the two. Is it too much of a conflict or do they mix well enough together?

They are very similar in their approach and style. It is always worth learning and training with other martial arts, they will be difference moves, techniques, tricks, subtle differences which will improve your overall skill.

But in terms of moves, style and philosophy they are relatively close. If you want to be a skilled grappling based martial artist or fighter then by all means do both. If you want something more diverse and different, or want to be a more complete fighter then cross train with a striking style art such as Karate, Kung Fu, Mauy Thai, Boxing, TKD.

They let this guy use a singlet here. i don’t see why not Muay Thai shorts. I think they did in PRIDE, but I don’t know about UFC. I know the old UFC they wore a bunch of different stuff. But just remember, mma fighters have sponsors and they are used on mma trunks. Most, of course.

The Ultimate Fighter has become a gem among the typical dredge of reality television. Smartly conceived, well-produced and playing completely to the large UFC fan base, The Ultimate Fighter brings it’s SpikeTV viewers an eclectic collection of cast members every season. This is ultimately what makes the show tick; the clashing of personalities is a reality show staple, but on The Ultimate Fighter the personalities get to enter the octagon and fight each other. As each season passes, a number of contestants fade from the public eye for one reason or another, sometimes never to be seen again. What has happened to your favorite Ultimate Fighter contestant? Here, we’ll profile what’s been going on with some of our favorite fighters from The Ultimate Fighter.

Stephen Bonnar

Bonnar is probably best known for his epic and universally beloved The Ultimate Fighter title fight with Forrest Griffin on The Ultimate Fighter 1; a fight he actually lost. Many regard this match as one of the best in UFC history, and rightfully so. However, since then, Bonnar has had some troubling times. He notched three consecutive victories in the Octagon after the fight, all on SpikeTV Ultimate Fight Nights. Then, on Ultimate Fight Night 5, he lost a unanimous decision to Rashad Evans. After that, Bonnar got scheduled to fight a rematch with Forrest Griffin at UFC 62 on August 26, 2006. Bonnar again lost to Griffin (in a unanimous decision), but those were the least of his worries. Shortly after that fight, Stephan Bonnar tested positive for the use of anabolic steroids, a banned substance in the UFC. He has not fought since, and his career is seemingly in jeopardy. No decision has yet been made by the powers that be on his UFC status.

Chris Leben

Brash and unflinching, Chris Leben was as dynamic a personality (and fighter) as The Ultimate Fighter has ever seen. In a controversial match early on in The Ultimate Fighter 1, Leben lost to Josh Koscheck. Leben complained to UFC president Dana White after the fight that Koscheck just “held him down” and if that was the kind of fighter White wanted in the UFC. Leben got to fight again, this time in the Ultimate Fighter semi-finals, when Nate Quarry bowed out with an injury. Leben lost again to Kenny Florian. Since The Ultimate FIghter 1, Leben has had a sterling record, going 6-1-0 in UFC competition, only losing to Anderson Silva, but beating quality fighters like Jorge Rivera, Edwin Dewees, and Jorge Santiago. Leben is a personality that the Ultimate Fighting Championship should be eager to use. He had been training at AMC Pankration in Seattle, but currently Leben is training down in Portland, Oregon.

Rashad Evans

Despite an eight inch height difference between Evans and the 6′7 Brad Imes, Rashad beat Imes in the heavyweight division finale of The Ultimate Fighter 2. Success has followed Evans since his victorious stint on The Ultimate Fighter 2, him winning all three of his UFC bouts since. His professional MMA record remains a perfect 14-0-0 and Evans is widely considered to be a title contender. It should only be a matter of time before Rashad Evans gets his shot.

Joe Stevenson

Stevenson surprised few by winning the Welterweight division of The Ultimate Fighter 2. Only 5′7, he defeated Luke Cummo in the Ultimate Fighter finale with an unanimous decision. He lost his first match after The Ultimate Fighter, to Josh Neer at Ultimate Fight Night 4. However, Stevenson easily won his next fight due to doctor stoppage versus Yves Edwards at UFC 61. Stevenson is one of the most experienced fighters to ever appear on The Ultimate Fighter; he sported a professional record of 24-6-0 prior to appearing on the reality show.

Unarmed fighting forms have be a part of Japanese culture for many centuries. Unarmed combat is mentioned in the earliest Japanese historical records. The Japanese fighting systems we know today have their origins found in ancient Japanese battlefield combat systems. The fighting styles that fall under the general name Sengoku Jujutsu were originally not for unarmed combat as much as they were to help a lightly armored warrior defeat a heavily armed warrior. The heavily armed attacker would generally not be prepared to defend against unarmed techniques. Jujitsu training includes learning striking, body throws, sweeps, joint-locks, off-balance throws, pinning, grappling, wrestling, strangulating holds, submission holds, and even weapon skills such as with the tanto. Jujitsu training also includes defensive strategies such as evasion, blocking, blending, escaping, and maintaining balance.

During the Edo period is when the Jujitsu that we recognize today started to come into being. The Nihon Jujutsu of today is a child of Edo Jujutsu, which was less battlefield oriented and focused on dealing with unarmored opponents. One of the primary differences is the addition use of striking vital targets. This would not be of much use against an armored opponent, but it is very powerful when used against an enemy in civilian or street clothes.

One aspect of the original forms of Jujitsu training that is no longer seen much is the use of a cord to restrain or choke an attacker. While these techniques are not as relevant with today’s weapons, Tokyo police still carry a hojo cord and train with it regularly.

Truly modern Jujutsu was founded towards the end of the Tokegawa period around the year 1850. Around this time many Jujutsu schools sprung up which stressed Jujitsu training based on the Edo Jujustsu system rather than the Sengoku Jujutsu system as battlefield confrontation was no longer very relevant.

Modern Jujutsu is employed by law enforcement and military all around the world. It is a very effective way to restrain an attacker without using lethal force. If an opponent is not trained in Jujutsu, it is very hard for them to defend against Jujutsu’s attacks and control maneuvers. Modern Jujutsu is also very popular in the mixed martial arts sport of today, and there are also many Jujutsu specific competitions.

One of the reasons Jujutsu is so effective is that it specializes in reacting to any given situation. You do not just run striking drills and hope an opponent cannot defend against your combinations. Jujutsu allows the student to stay effective no matter where the fight goes. If the fight goes to the ground, the Jujutsu student is prepared. Jujutsu allows the student to keep control over the fight and impose his strategy upon the opponent no matter what they try to do.

‘Do You Know The Most Common Question I Get All The Time About
Internet Marketing?’

The question is …

“How Do I Make Money On The Internet?”

Now – I want to be honest with you. It’s a valid question but
it’s impossible to answer that question because there are just
too many things to talk about in that topic!

I mean, other analogies to that question are …

“How can you make a girl/guy likes you.” or

“How can I be a good parent.”

There are so many ways to achieve that!

But …

If I can sum it all up to give you the secret of making money
online fast WITHOUT competing with experienced internet
marketing gurus, the answer is …

“Build an online niche business.”

What? Online niche business? What’s that?

It’s niche marketing.

For the record, I’ll define an online niche business as a
business that is not about ‘How To’ make money online or offline
and internet marketing related topics.

Here are a few niche marketing examples:

A website about dog training … A website about digital camera
…. A website about wedding planning … A website about baby
sitting … A website about fresh water fishing … A website
about Thai Kickboxing … etc, etc.

You get the idea, don’t you?

However, I have to agree with you that the ‘How To’ make money
niche market is a profitable market.

No doubts about that.

So, why am I still insisting to everyone who has asked me how to
make money online to explore the income potential of niche
marketing?

Am I afraid of competitors?

That’s silly.

Does Anthony Robbins worry about the other 1000’s of
motivational speakers in United States?

I don’t think so.

The reason I highly recommend someone to build a niche business
is because he/she will not be competing with experienced
internet marketing gurus. Like, if you’re planning to build a
niche market for martial arts, you can focus on ‘ninjitsu for
women’ etc. Don’t build a niche market purely on ‘martial arts’.
That’s too huge a market.

Now — How many experienced internet marketing gurus are you
going to be competing with in ‘Ninjitsu for women’? Hardly any.

But hey, don’t go and do ‘Ninjitsu for women’, ok? That’s just
an example that I plucked from the air.

But here’s the most important advice:

It’s not about making $100,000.00 from a niche market or
whatever amount of money you set yourself to earn.

It’s how you’re going to make the first $1 from that niche. Once
you have done that successfully, there’s nothing stopping you
from improving that online niche business’s income.

Let’s talk about ‘Ninjitsu for Women’ again.

The first product that you sell might be an ebook titled,

‘10 Easy Ways To Master Ninjitsu Martial Art For Women’.

Once you sell that, you can expand the business and start
selling:

i. More ebooks ii. Ninjitsu tools and gear (Sell as an affiliate
to reduce the handling inventory and order fulfillment cost)
iii. Ninjitsu classes iv. etc etc

The sky’s the limit for what else you can sell in the same niche
market as long as you know how to make your first dollar online.

In the world of internet dental marketing, you need to have good strategies in getting your website into the top rankings of Google, Yahoo, or in any other search engines in the World Wide Web. This is something that we focus specifically at our dental practice website! Now, how do you get your website on top of these search engines. For this, you may need an expert dental practice consultant. And for me, the man for the job is dental practice consultant Lloyd Irvin, whom I consider a master of internet dental marketing, and one of the best dental practice consultants there is!

Now, who is Lloyd Irvin? He’s just a regular guy, and his journey first started as a master of martial arts. He’s a world champion in martial arts (specifically in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and he has one of the best martial arts team in the country. But it came to a point that his school and business was struggling. Trying to figure out to make things better, he ran to a guy named Steven Oliver, who teaches people in martial arts how to make more money and run their businesses better. So, as he was learning more about marketing, sales, and business, he also learned about the Internet. He went for internet marketing specialized for the martial arts businesses and martial arts school. When he started seeing these opportunities on internet marketing, and how people are making more money in there.. this is something he just dove into. And from meeting Steven Oliver, his school drove extremely well into the top 5 schools in the country, and he owes it to all of what he learned in internet marketing. Now as he went into internet marketing, he also found a place in the industry of internet dental marketing… and became an expert dental practice consultant in the business.

I met Lloyd about ten months ago at a Dan Kennedy event, and I’ve heard a lot of good things about him. I had a couple of people who both within one week said “Ed, you gotta meet this guy Lloyd Irvin!”. And so I did. So I walked up to him in the hallway and introduced myself and we had a really short conversation. Then we parted ways, exchanged e-mails and that night I went online and I typed in “Lloyd Irvin”, and I felt like a complete idiot instantly. When his credentials popped up on the screen, I read that he is one of the first Americans to ever go to Brazil and beat a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt on Brazilian turf! He has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Sambo. And to top all of it, he’s also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Hall of Famer. So after that Dan Kennedy event, we spent two days together and we’ve been e-mailing back and forth. And on the second day over lunch, he started asking me questions… and here’s the thing: I didn’t know the answer into anything he was asking me! I’ll tell you that I, as a dental practice consultant, am the most studied person you’ll ever meet when it comes to internet marketing, and I didn’t know the answers to the simple things he was asking me that he was doing online. So, I had dedicated myself relentlessly to learn more and more about internet marketing and you’ll see it in my newsletters that I just keep talking about it because I was blind before and now I have like seen the light and I just can’t stop preaching about the stuff that he shares about doing things online.

So, like I’ve said earlier, dental practice consultant Lloyd Irvin is the best man for the job when it comes to internet marketing… especially in internet dental marketing! For your internet dental marketing, he will teach you stuff like SEO (or Search Engine Optimization), which if done correctly, can help you get your website into the top rankings of the search engines in the Internet. He can have your website climb to the top spots on the Internet within a matter of minutes. He will also teach you his magic formula, Traffic + Conversion = Cash, and this formula will help you get the biggest earnings that you can have in your dental practice. Plus, he’ll teach you more secrets for your internet dental marketing business that you’ll never find anywhere else! So, if you ever get to meet Lloyd Irvin, he is literally one of the most fascinating people that you’ll ever meet. If you should literally have the opportunity of listening to anything he says, you should take it as verbatim; you should take it as pure gold. He doesn’t talk a lot, so when he talks, it definitely means something. For me, Lloyd Irvin truly is a master of internet dental marketing… and he can be for you as well!
